I think that may detract a little from the message...but do whatever you want. Actually I've considered making an anime bible as well, but some parts would be...difficult...

This is really beautiful and a wonderful gift and a wonderful artwork of and for Jesus lol I really enjoy the colors and the way you posed Mary and John it works perfectly for this picture.

lol well thats what its seemingly become over the years. and in one way, it is, because Jesus gave the ultimate gift of all (err i know your not relgious so i'm not trying to get in a religious er discussion i'm just answering your question =] as long as it doesn't bother you). in general, what CHRISTmas is about is the birth of CHRIST. ;)

As for making an anime about the bible, then go ahead. I don't see any problem with it. There's already a manga book out on the market about Jesus' life; it's titled "Manga Messiah".
